LOVE IS A GARDEN: with different flowers blooming in it. Just like flowers need tender tending, so does love. If nurtured well, it grows into something extraordinary. But they are easy to grow, enhance the beauty, and spread a radiant fragrance. Love changes our outlook towards life. 

 

LOVE IS A JOURNEY: We travel great distances and collect memories. Sometimes, the destination is still being determined. We don’t know what we might discover on its winding roads. It is unpredictable with its twists and turns. But we travel towards our destination together, counting, relying and supporting each other.

 

LOVE IS A SONG that is special to our hearts. We can listen to it over and over again. It best expresses our emotions, and we never get bored of it. It has a rhythm and a beat and lightens our burdens and steps.

 

LOVE IS A DANCE: as it allows us to express ourselves. It provides laughter, fun and relaxation. Different types of dances define the various phases of our life. It teaches us to move in rhythm and sync with our partner.

 

LOVE IS A PAGE-TURNING NOVEL: Love opens boxes and then takes its sweet time to close them. You keep on going until you close the loop. There is a sense of mystery and joy because of its unpredictability.

 

LOVE IS A PAIR OF WORN-OUT SNEAKERS: It is worn repeatedly daily. The stains, dirt and grease they gather give it character, making the pair your very own.

 

LOVE IS A STURDY STEEL WRISTWATCH:  It has corrosion resistance, is tough, sturdy, and can last for a lifetime. It just needs minimum maintenance.

 

LOVE IS A CRUMPLED RS 500 NOTE BILL: Though it may be crumpled, it does not lose value. It is still as valuable as ever.

 

LOVE IS A GEM: It is rare, beautiful, precious, durable, and extremely valuable.

 

LOVE IS A RAINBOW: It is a symbol of hope, beauty, and diversity, and it is a hot subject in folklore, mythology, art, music, and movies. It is colourful and unique.

 

LOVE IS A PAINTING: It expresses our feelings and emotions without words. It is sensitive and always understands our feelings and emotions without us having to express them.

 

LOVE IS A POEM: The words become guides to the feelings that lie between the lines. It has a rhythmic cadence, vivid imagery and profound emotions.

 

LOVE IS A PUZZLE: It helps us remember, put thoughts into perspective, visualise the bigger picture and figure out which pieces will fit together. 

 

LOVE IS SUNRISE: It is like the most inspiring moment of the day. It is magical and signals the start of something new, promising endless possibilities and opportunities.

 

LOVE IS PARENTS: The only form of love is supportive and unconditional. You can be your quirky self without inhibitions, knowing you are accepted and loved unconditionally. It has no strings attached.

 

LOVE IS A FORTRESS: It provides us shelter and protection from the raging storms of life. It guards and keeps us safe.

 

LOVE IS GOD: It is this world's pure form of love. God’s love for us is steadfast and unchanging.

    MEMORIES OF MY DAYS AT ST. EDMUND’S SCHOOL   Nestled among the hills, ours was an Irish Christian Missionary School. It was founded by Edmund Ignatius Rice, a great missionary and educationist. The story goes that he belonged to a family of tenants who were into farming. When tragedy struck, and his wife died, he was left alone to care for his daughter with special needs. He sold his elegant house, moved into a stable, and opened his first school. Today, about 800 Christian Brothers in 28 countries run prestigious Edmund Rice educational institutions and follow in his footsteps.   St. Edmunds School had colossal buildings built by the Irish Brothers amidst picturesque settings. The school had three large play fields. It also had a very tranquil and very quaint chapel. Prayers were offered here in the serene atmosphere.
